In my opinion there is nothing better than cakes with crumbles. Especially the baking part of the crumbles is my favourite, because half of the batch lands in my stomach unbaked. Maybe that´s the reason why I do not identify with diet culture. However I found a way to eat crumbles for breakfast, without stomach issues afterwards – and it is actually pretty nourishing. The coffee crumble bowl is the perfect start in the day.
You can eat the crumbles unbaked without any problems, however I really like to bake mine shortly in the air fryer for 8 minutes at 160 degrees. It gives them a little crunch, but they are not entirely baked through.
If you are not a coffee – person, you can just leave it out. But it intensifies the chocolate flavour. So, I highly recommend it.
